Natasha grew up in Hamilton, Ohio, spending much of her childhood exploring the woods, creeks, and riverbanks of the Great Miami River watershed where a lifelong love of nature and desire to protect it took root.
Natasha has been involved in environmental work and advocacy for many years. She began monitoring stream health with the Butler County Soil and Water Conservation District in 2009 and in 2011 starting working with organizations including 350.org and Food & Water Watch Ohio on conservation and environmental protection initiatives.
Professionally, she brings nearly a decade of experience from Macy’s Inc., where she managed vendor contracts, led process improvement projects, and developed strong skills in data analysis, project coordination, and organizational operations.
After moving to Greene County in 2022, Natasha quickly became involved with Beaver Creek Wetlands Association and felt right at home. She began volunteering with BCWA, helping lead water quality monitoring programs and educational activities for children and families.
She spends her free time with her partner and four sons. She enjoys making art, knitting, reading, and learning about herbal medicine.
Natasha believes that people protect the places they love. As the new Educational and Administrative Coordinator, she’s excited to help others fall in love with the wetlands, streams, and wildlife that make this region special, and to create opportunities for the next generation to build their own connection and desire to protect the natural world.
