A Community-Wide Event For the Whole Family

The Spotted Turtle Trail winds through prairies, savannahs, and woodlands along the scenic Beaver Creek. Rise above the wetlands on a mile-long, newly built boardwalk.
Event Details
Pancakes

Fill up on free pancakes before or after your hike. Warm up with some hot chocolate, coffee, or tea. Beginning at 7:30am, pancakes and drinks will be served at the picnic shelter in Rotary Park WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

Hike

Hike at your own pace on a self-guided tour along the Spotted Turtle Trail. Select the 2-, 4-, or 6-mile route, each beginning at the Rotary Park picnic shelter. Routes will be clearly marked and maps are provided. Begin and end your hike when you wish but route unmarking begins at 11:30 am.

Other Information
This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. For all ages. Family friendly. Ample parking. Pets on a leash are welcome but, please, no pets under the picnic shelter. Bring a water bottle for your hike.
