Join us for a hike at the autumnal equinox. We will look for early signs of fall including the early leaf color, late summer native flowers, insects, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Hike is 2-3 miles at a moderate pace. Please be prepared to walk on wet trails or boardwalks. Bring water and insect repellant. Dress in layers. In the event of heavy rain or storms hike will be rescheduled on September 24th Meet at Dave Nolin Wetland Reserve at the end of south Deer Hollow Trail.
Mark is an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist and BCWA Certified Land Steward. He has volunteered with the Cincinnati Nature Center for five years supporting programming, events, and native plant propagation. He also volunteers with Warren County Parks and BCWA supporting programming and group hikes.
