Let’s take a walk to enjoy the first day of winter in the wetlands! Intended for all ages, we will take a naturalist-led walk along the trails at Phillips Park/ Beaver Creek Wetlands Reserve and adjacent properties to look for signs of winter. Our hike will conclude with hot beverages at the Phillips Park gazebo!
Dress for the weather and bring water, your cameras, binoculars and curiosity.
Hike Scheduled for 1.5 hrs. 2.5 – 3 Miles, Slow – Moderate pace
In the event of storms or heavy rain, the hike will be rescheduled to 12/22 at the same time and location.
About the Hike Leader: Mark is an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist and BCWA Certified Land Steward. He has volunteered with the Cincinnati Nature Center for four years supporting programming, events, and native plant propagation. He also volunteers with Warren County Parks and BCWA supporting programming and group hikes.
