The film literally paints pictures of conservation and nature through original art and music. Noted Ohio conservationist Ora Anderson serves as the narrator, and his writings are featured in an illustrated booklet accompanying the DVD.

Knollwood Garden Center's Spring Garden Party, Beavercreek, Ohio
Saturday, April 17, 2010 9:00AM - 5:00PM
For many years, Knollwood www.knollwoodgardens.com has helped BCWA by providing us with the opportunity to sell hotdogs, BarBQ, coffee, soft drinks and more to their patrons. Best of all, Knollwood pays for all the food, so we just show up, handle the cooking and collect the proceeds. The prices are set by Knollwood to offer their customers a great deal on lunch and snacks. It's a great opportunity that benefits a great local business and its customers, the BCWA and ultimately the wetlands! Did I mention it was FUN!!!

Event is free and open to the public. Volunteers needed. Please contact BCWA at 937-320-9042 or by email at admin@beavercreekwetlands.org for more information.

Birdathon
Friday April 30th & Saturday, May 1st, 2010
When: Starts April 30th at 5:00PM and goes for exactly 24 hours to May 1st at 5:00PM
Where: The entire Beaver Creek Wetlands Corridor of Beaver Creek and Little Beaver Creek, includes the adjacent upland habitats within the watershed.
Why: To raise money for BCWA and Aullwood, and to get an annual census of birds during the neo-tropical migration period
How:
  1. Form teams of birders to look for as many species of birds as possible
  2. You can pledge a penny, 25 cents or any amount you wish per bird species found in that that 24 hour period. You can also just simply pledge a set amount.
  3. We need teams to cover numerous parts of the wetlands so as to maximize habitat coverage.
  4. We need teams to cover evening, morning and midday

We have been finding about 80 to 100 species each year. All of our bird search is within the watershed of the Beaver Creeks so it adds to important information about our wildlife. If you are interested in making a Pledge or working with a Team (mostly 2-3 persons) let us know by email admin@beavercreekwetlands.org or call 37-320-9042, so we can figure where and when. Birding experience is not really essential. If you are just an interest in trying, we can team novices with more experienced birders.
